9ct Gold Scottish Hardstone Dirk Brooch with Citrine, Birmingham 1900

9ct gold dirk brooch with thistle motif decoration and mixed hardstone blade, with a faceted citrine terminal. Birmingham hallmarked, dated 1900–01.

A rare and characterful piece in the Scottish Revival tradition, with good presence and fine detail throughout. Some age-related wear to the surface and historic solder repair to the guard — please refer to images.
