9ct gold shell cameo ring, Edwardian, c.1900–1910. Oval shell cameo carved with a classical female profile in a simple collet setting with plain swept shoulders. Light wear consistent with age and consistent with a piece of genuine antiquity. The interior hallmarks are worn almost smooth from long use — testament to a ring that was genuinely loved and worn daily over many decades.
